Upcoming Fundraisers

Morning Star School has three major fundraising events each year. These events are critical as they provide a wonderful opportunity for Morning Star School to inform the public about the school’s special education program while raising funds that are used to help us meet the needs of children with learning disabilities.

Morning Star School Golf Classic

The 27th Annual Morning Star School Golf Classic was held Thursday, October 27, 2011 at the Tournament Players Club of Tampa Bay (TPC). Thanks to the Sponsors, Players and the Parents, the event was a great success. We netted over $30,000 and thank all who made this year's Golf Classic a wonderful event.

Morning Star Gala - Set for Thursday, March 22, 2012!

The theme for the 2012 Morning Star Gala is "Walkin' On Sunshine". This year's event will take place the evening of March 22, 2012 at the Bethany Center located off of Van Dyke Road in Lutz. Once again, the Gala will feature the Morning Star Sensations - they will be singing inspirational songs and displaying their talent under the direction of Ms. Eileen Daly and Ms. Lauren Perkins.

Please set aside the date of Thursday, March 22, 2012. The Cocktail Reception and Silent Auction begin at 6:15 PM followed by a Seated Dinner at 7:30 PM. Please call Morning Star School if you have any questions about the upcoming Gala.

Morning Star School Tennis Classic - Set for April 27th, 28th & 29th of 2012.

The 25th Annual Morning Star School Tennis Classic is tentatively scheduled for April 27-29, 2012 at Emerald Greens Country Club. We look forward to another great Doubles Tennis Tournament. More details will follow as the tournament date approaches.
