OUR sTORY

Morning Star School in Tampa was founded in 1958, with the express purpose of serving students with special needs. We have been welcoming elementary and junior high school students from all faiths and backgrounds for 65 years. Morning Star is the mission of the Diocese of St. Petersburg where students receive a faith-based education and personalized learning experience. We accept the Family Empowerment Scholarships for Unique Abilities, FTC and EO.

2025-2027 admissions information

We will host an Open House for prospective students for the 2026-2027 on Wednesday, November 12th and Wednesday, December 10th at 10:00 am to 11:00 am. There will be an information session at 10:00 am followed by tours of the campus.
