The School Counselors, who are certified in School Guidance, direct the developmental guidance program used in the school.

Speech and language therapy is offered on campus to students with speech and language disorders, including auditory processing disorders and specific language impairments.  Independent therapists provide these services on a regular basis according to student needs.

Occupational Therapy is also offered on-site for students with motor issues, visual perceptive difficulties and/or sensory integration disorders.

Morning Star provides an extended day program for students. A director is present on campus, as well as teacher assistance for homework help.  In addition, there is  structured playtime and after school snacks.

Hillsborough County also works with eligible students to provide speech and language therapy and reading/math tutoring through federally-funded IDEA and Title 1 programs.

After school activities include Sports, Math Club, Karate, Mad Scientist Club and Chorus.
